Mina Sedrak
Mina is currently a first year medical student at the Rush University Medical Center and a recent graduate of the University of
Chicago. While at Chicago he majored in Biological Sciences and Medical Ethics. As a
research assistant for Dr. Rubin, Mina is responsible for reviewing medical
records, performing drug calculations and assessing various patient studies.
In addition, Mina is active in developing the IBD database and completing
the inflammation study with fellow researchers Jami, Jeremy, and Alana. Working
in this research community has reinforced his commitment to pursue a
career in medicine. In his
free time, Mina enjoys tutoring and leading Model United Nation
Conferences for high school students in order to raise their awareness about
political and humanitarian issues affecting our world today.
