Alana Bunnag graduated from the University of Chicago in 2005, with an A.B. in biological sciences. She was hired in the summer of 2005, and is currently the full time research coordinator for the Rubin Group. Her research interests include chemoprevention of colorectal cancer, predictors of disease activity in IBD, spectral markers in IBD, and drug delivery mechanisms. In addition to advancing our research endeavors, she also coordinates the Doctor Patient Relationship and Advanced Medical Ethics classes that are taught by Dr. Rubin at the Pritzker School of Medicine.
